White is always a trend come Summer time but this year I reckon we can expect a total white-out. A scary prospect for some, me included, but be brave and try white from head to toe; maybe as a loose-fitting jumpsuit or cocktail dress Victoria Beckham style.

Also remember white plus tan equals fashion perfection and I don't mean skin, although sun-kissed skin works too, think beige belts and heels. Colour may be the new black this season but I think it's fair to say you should prepare your wardrobe for a total fashion white-over.

So I had a little moment yesterday and emptied my bank account courtesy of the wonderful Net-A-Porter website.

What started innocently as browsing turned into a full-on fashion frenzy.. for wardrobe staples. I'm not being funny, I went a bit crazy for staples..It's always worth stocking up on these pieces regardless of the trend-de-jour. Yes really.
