Celebs like Paris Hilton, may lead a life most of us can only dream of but we're all the same when it comes to the law, actually that's not true..plenty of us have a lot more common sense then these celebs, I mean why would you bother drink-driving when you've got access to an actual driver?...duh! Celebrities also have access to the best lawyers money can buy so they're pretty sorted really.. why else could the get away with crimes that would get us mere mortals locked up for life, well a few weeks anyway.

1999:Carmen Electra:Only months after their whirlwind nine-day marriage was annulled, former Playboy centerfold and Baywatch actress Carmen Electra (real name Tara Patrick) was arrested in November 1999 with basketball star Dennis Rodman after the celebrity couple got into a fight at a Miami Beach hotel.

2010:Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford was arrested in Plano, Texas for possession of marijuana. The actor was detained in Plano just after midnight on Friday, before being charged and released. Mugshot provided by Plano Police Dept.

2008:Hollywood superstar Matt Dillon has been arrested for allegedly driving at more than 100mph. The actor was taken to a police station in Newbury, Vermont, after being stopped at 106mph on Interstate 91, more than 40mph over the speed limit of 65mph. Dillon, 44, was finger-printed and had this booking photograph taken. He was released with a citation to appear in court next month to answer to a charge of excessive speed.

2006: The picture was released by The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department on Monday following Gibson's arrest in the early hours of Friday morning. Gibson was arrested for drunk driving on July 29th and was kept at a Malibu police station for 7 hours before being released on bail.

2008: This is O.J Simpson's latest mugshot after he was transferred from a Las Vegas jail to High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs.

The 61-year-old fallen hero arrived at the Nevada state prison on Monday to begin his stretch after he was jailed for up to 33 years for robbing two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint at the Las Vegas' Palace Station hotel in September 2007.

2010:Here's Paris Hilton smiling for her police mugshot after she was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly possessing cocaine. She was arrested with boyfriend Cy Watts on Friday night (Aug 27) and booked into Clark County Detention Center, where she was released at about 2.45 am on Saturday morning (Aug 28).

2010:Here is Jersey Shore star Snooki's police mugshots. Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, was picked up by police in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, on Friday, where she is filming the latest series of the hit MTV show.
She then spent several hours in custody on disorderly conduct charges before being released with a summons.

2007:Lindsay Lohan smirked as she posed for her mugshot after starting her 90-day jail sentence. The actress was booked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California. She was sentenced to jail after violating her probation from a 2007 drink driving and cocaine possession conviction

1971:And finally Hollywood legend Jane Fonda has taken to her blog to speak out about her infamous mugshot. The mugshot, taken in 1971, shows Fonda with her 'Klute' haircut and with her left fist raised. The actress was arrested at Cleveland Aiport on her way to an anti-war rally at a college campus because of three envelopes containing pills. It turns out the pills were Fonda's vitamins for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but she was arrested for drug smuggling and Fonda believes it a smear campaign to hurt her nationwide speaking tour.

Pixie Lott's luck seems to be on the up as she launches her Autumn/Winter fashion range for Lipsy at House of Fraser in Oxford Street, London tonight.

Pixie, who wore an outfit from her new collection, reveals that she still can't believe she was given a role in new film Sweet Baby Jesus, in which she plays the part of Sharon Stone's daughter.

The Boys and Girls singer will begin shooting the new film soon and has revealed all about the plot (as well as her excitement about working with such big name stars).

"It's crazy, isn't it?," says Lott of landing the role. "It's called 'Sweet Baby Jesus' and it's released next year.
"It's a comedy about a man named Joe who accompanies his pregnant girlfriend Mary to Bethlehem, where the villagers assume they are the second coming," added the 19-year-old, who plans to sell her clothes her charity.
"I'm playing Mary and Sharon Stone plays my mum. Adrien Brody and Bette Midler are both in it too.
"I feel so lucky that the cast is so amazing. It's going to be a privilege to work with them. I had no idea things would take off so quickly," Pixie, who just treated herself to £400,000 London apartment, told Star magazine.
"We'll see how this one goes. I don't know if the film will do well or not but it will be a great experience to work with so many amazing people and focus more on my acting."
