Fashion Fix: Leather Shorts I love ya but you're making me sad

I've been looking for a leather shorts for over three weeks now which doesn't seem very long but in shopping years that's, um, well ages. I'm aware that there is a very fine line between looking chic and chav so I need to choose very carefully.

I've also got to be very careful with my budget as I've just booked an extremely expensive holiday to Australia so I need to mind my pounds so that I've got enough dollars when I get there.

There are lots of pleather options out there but I know I'll hate them eventually so I need a proper leather pair that I can take from day to night, wear with flats or heels and wear with a jumper just as easily as with a nice going out top.

I want a pair that hugs my derrière just right but give me freedom to bust a move should I be on the dancefloor. These are my top picks, ranging from £55 to £225.. Oh decisions, decisions..

Keep warm with these winter wonders

After battling Oxford street on this incredibly cold day I decided to look on-line for some winter warmers, these are my top picks from the web. It's also incredibly satisfying to sit in and shop while it's so wet and cold outside.

These Paul Smith Metallic Mittens are both toasty and tasty, these black shearling mittens are the perfect way to make sure you're snug in colder months. Sheer luxury!

They're not cheap but they certainly are a much prettier alternative to the regular UGG Boot but are the UGG Josyln worth £219? I think so..

This fake fur ear muffs are also on my to buy list and are a snip at £12.00 from John Lewis.

Practical and stylish, wear the ‘Fiona’ knitted snood by Amber Little to add another dimension to a sports-inspired look. £75.00

At £229 it aint cheap but it is pretty...Wool muffler by Rike Feurstein at ASOS. Featuring a chunky knit texture, silky lining and rope neck-string.

Happy Shopping!

Alec Baldwin wants to see Blake Lively naked... In a nice way

Alec Baldwin, brother of Blake Lively's on screen Gossip Girl father, William Baldwin, recently said that he'd love to see Lively pose for one of PETA's popular naked campaigns.

Baldwin spoke to E! at a recent gala celebrating 30 years of PETA.
"I think those people had a real opportunity to fill a certain role in society and they didn't necessarily step up, but those that are I think it's a great thing if they get involved with anti-fur or anti-animal testing."
Lively, pictured earlier on the set of Gossip Girl looked ready for winter in brown ribbed tights, sparkly dress and comfy Ugg boots.
Warehouse have some fab ribbed tights available now for £8

Mawi, three ways to get your hands on it at great prices

Since Mawi launched in 2003 it has fastly become a fashion must have.

Designer Mawi Keivom was raised around the world and it certainly shows in her eclectic, playful pieces. Her eyecatching designs have an futuristic feel to them, making each item seem like a precious heirloom found in your Grandma's jewellery box, albeit a very modern one.

If like me, you're a big fan of Mawi but not of the prices I've got three solutions for you but be quick..

I've discovered them on ASOS outlet and Brand Alley for a short while. They were also present at the London Fashion Weekender but I'd already blown my budget by the time I came across them..

ASOS, prices start at £65 for earrings but they've got a very small range

Brand Alley, prices from £50 for necklaces and they've got some great pieces with a huge range

Amelie Boutique, prices from £39 and a limited selection but some really nice pieces to choose from.
