It's office Lady Gaga is running for office.. not really but she is up in arms right now so we all had better listen to her or she might come after her with her dead meat costume.. Actualy this is quite a good cause for Americans to get involved with..
Lady Gaga has filmed this video plea to the US senate asking it to end the so-called 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' legislation which forces gay and lesbian servicemen and women keep their sexuality a secret or risk being discharged.
She poses in front of a stars and stripes flag for the black-and-white, seven-and-a-half minute clip, in which she urges fans to contact their local senators, even handing out phone numbers and brandishing a mobile device.
Gaga, 24, says: "I have called both of the senators that operate in my district. I will not stop calling until I reach them. I am here to be a voice for my generation. We are not asking you to agree with or approve the moral implications of homosexuality. We're asking you to do your job - to protect the constitution. Ultimately the law is being enforced by using gay profiling and gay soldiers have become targets. Not only is the law unconstitutional, but it's not even being properly or fairly enforced by the government."
She posted the video on Twitter..
Watch the video here..
Lady Gaga has lots of power in the US, hopefully it's enough to change things..
